*** Private Stock McCarty Singlecut #Prototype

McCarty Singlecut

Named after Paul’s mentor and a legend in the guitar industry, the Private Stock McCarty Singlecut is a direct reflection of Ted McCarty’s work in the 1950’s on solidbody guitars and everything he taught Paul decades later. It is simultaneously a look back to the golden age of guitar building, the culmination of Paul’s experience studying vintage guitars, and PRS’s history making McCarty instruments. With a thicker back for a more robust tone and “flat jumbo” fretwire lightly ground down to feel like an “old friend,” the Private Stock McCarty Singlecut embodies vintage tone and classic feel.

Other specifications for this instrument include a Private Stock maple top, mahogany back, 22 fret, 24.5” scale length Pattern neck, PRS old-style birds and Private Stock eagle inlays, curly maple bound fretboard, Santana headstock shape, high-gloss nitro finish, PRS locking tuners, two volume and two tone controls with a 3-way toggle pickup selector with traditional wiring, PRS two- piece stoptail as well as a bone nut and a hardshell case.
